For the Girls: The Skirty Solution

My sweet as sweet pie two year old girl is a skirt-wearing, dress-lovin', girly girl. She is also a lover of dirt, climber of trees and gymnast extraordinaire. As such, her cute little round bum is often on proudly on display. And oh, what an adorable bum it is. I just love her carefree, uninhibited spirit...and her bum (did I say that already?). I suppose I ought to cover her up just a tiny bit though, especially once she gets a bit older. I certainly don't see her daredevil ways ending anytime soon. I won’t mind much though (and neither will she, I suspect), thanks to the Skirty from Amoretti. The Skirty is “the new and (if we do say so ourselves) very necessary underlayer for little girls!” It’s the feminine answer to the bike short and I suspect my saucy little gal will eat it up. What a fun and lighthearted way to introduce her to the concept of modesty. Works for me!

Edited to add: Check out this post if you're interested in a similar (and oh-so fetching) product for us grown-up gals.

Super cute! If I had a girl they'd totally be wearing one of those! THanks for sharing!

Great idea -- it's tough to find bloomers and bike shorts really aren't feminine (as you mentioned), so this is perfect! We don't have any girls yet, but I'll send this link to my SIL for her daughter. I kinda think I'd like a pair for myself, too, LOL!

FABULOUS idea!

Love it.

My girls are teens...and wear dresses and skirts almost every day to school.
They were shorty pants underneath just in case.

I'd love to find these in their sizes.
