I just wanted to pop in and thank all of you who wandered over from Jen’s site, Conversion Diary, for your kind words! (For those of you who are visiting from other places and are a bit baffled by the many “poop” comments you can read Jen’s hysterical post here — she’s far too sweet and what she failed to mention is that she would have done the same thing had our roles been reversed.) I don’t think I’ve ever felt so loved! It’s so nice to meet all of you! I can’t wait to visit your blogs and get to know you all better.
Have a wonderful Independence Day weekend, girls! I thought I’d leave you with my favorite new song from Regina Spektor…

Hi! I just came over from Jen's blog to subscribe to your feed. I live in San Antonio and am always fascinated when I found out that celebrities like you and Jen live so close my town.
Also, you recently commented on a post I made about my wonderful Land's End bathing suit, and that it made your pending suit decision harder to make. What did you ultimately decide on?
Hi Betty (aka Hero and fighter of poo!),
I came over from the C Diary and just wanted to say hi too!
Here from Jen again :) LOVElovelove, the music video! So glad you posted it. I may have found a new favorite artist…
Another over from Jen's blog…what an amazing friend you are! Thank you for posting the video. I've not heard of this artist before…what a gift!
How sweet to post a thank you! I am very glad I found your blog!
Came over from Conversion Diary, and LOVED your blog! I've added it to my blog roll!
Came here from Jen's blog as well. Love it!
I'm visiting from Conversion Diary, and I have to say, that was the most wonderful thing you did! I'm a bit behind, but I will be visiting in the future, too!
And I didn't actually laugh at the story. Poop all over everything is too much of a possibility for me with my dear little ones!
I laughed. Right out loud. Then I got all misty at the friendship you have with Jen, because I'm blessed with some pretty awesome friends like that, too.
Any friend like that is a blogging friend of mine. :)
Kelly (from Michigan)
I'm one of those! Just taking a peek and looking forward to reading more from you, Betty! What a great friend you are to our friend, Jen. :)
That song is just so interesting! I'd love to know the story behind the person writing it.
I can't speak to Regina Spektor's religious beliefs, but she does, unfortunately, support Planned Parenthood.

Her songs stand on their own, whatever she may say, but I cannot support an artist who supports abortion.
