I enjoyed your article. I have three children, one is my adorable eleven month old girl whom I stay at home with. I desperatley want to keep up my appearence for myself and especially my husband. He bombarded with work responsibilities constantly as he struggles to provide for us in this recession. He is much like your husband too, very kind and forgiving. Thanks for stopping by! I just started thinking about this stuff recently. I'm a convert and God has a way of slowly introducing me to new ideas so as not to overwhelm me, I think. LOL! I have a two year old girl and a 4 month old girl, in addition to two boys, and they have really made this issue important to me. Kids have a way of doing that, don't they? Nice to meet you!

I am glad I found this post. It is very timely for me right now. I also like the fact that you are doing a blog about modesty. With five girls to raise, modesty is something which we discuss a lot. I have also thought that, as a mother of seven children, it is a good idea to look "put together" - for myself, for my husband and for all those people who are scrutinizing our family every time we walk out the door. Thanks.
